Wolffer Estate Vineyard

Putting Long Island Wine Country and Rose on the Map.

Brandstyle Communications

Project details.

A fruitful partnership with Wolffer Estate Vineyards allowed BSC to play many roles for this sustainable Hampton’s winery.  We launched several top-selling wines and spirits including the iconic Summer In a Bottle Rose elevating it to a top competitor in the Rose category and achieving sell-out status, shaped the profile of Co-Owner Joey Wolffer redefining the role of winery scion and opened the brand’s first-ever restaurant; Wolffer Kitchen.

The results.

We hosted private tasting dinners, conceptualized relevant programming to draw press stories, consulted on initiatives to establish an authentic community and lifestyle around the vineyard, produced live press experiences onsite, made introductions to like-minded brands for partnerships and, of course, crafted messaging that appeared in publications from Food & Wine to The New York Times.

Our impact.

media impressions

In August of 2014, BSC released news of a rose shortage in the Hamptons; which quickly progressed into a global media frenzy covered by everyone from The Washington Post to Refinery29.  This  ‘rose moment’ continued for years after with fierce competitors entering the market including Influencer @thefatjewish who launched White Girl Rose in the Summer of 2015 citing ‘a massive rosé shortage in the Hamptons’ the prior Summer as the impetus behind his brand.
