BSC identified and secured local and national editors and influencers to attend and celebrate the opening of Love Your Melon’s first-ever brick-and-mortar studio in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In advance of the opening, Brandstyle secured exclusive coverage of the news on Women’s Wear Daily online, the leading source of fashion industry insights. Additional pre-event press was confirmed with local broadcast and online outlets including Kare11 News, Twin Cities Business Magazine, MSP Magazine, and the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal.
The results.
During the VIP opening event, BSC encouraged guests to share their experience via social channels, tagging the brand for maximum exposure. As a result of the social media engagement during and immediately following the event, @LoveYourMelon’s Instagram account saw a significant spike in traffic. The company gained over 940 new followers across the country between September 25th and October 2nd (before the opening, LYM was averaging ~17 new followers per day).
